1. टैमरिंड राइस : यह चावल से बना व्यंजन हर दक्षिण भारतीय घर में मशहुर है, हालांकि अलग-अलग श्रेत्र के अनुसार इसके बहुत से विकल्प होते हैं। चूंकी इस व्यंजन में प्रयोग की गई बहुत सी सामग्री सूखी और पहले से बने हुए मसालें हैं, इस व्यंजन को लबे समय तक रखा जा सकता है और बाहर जाते समय, यह पेक करने के लिए पर्याप्त होता है।

2. ज़ीरा-पैपर रसम : ठंड के दिनों में परोसने के लिए एक पर्याप्त रसम! सर्दी और बुखार के लिए, रसम के अच्छी दवा है, और अकसर कुछ लोग से कप में ऐसे ही पीना पसंद करते हैं, वहीं बाकी लोग इसे चावल के सात मिलाकर भरपुर घी के साथ खाना पसंद करते हैं।
