For Khyaar Bi Leban
2 cups fresh hung curds (chakka dahi) , whisked
1/2 cup finely chopped cucumber
2 tbsp finely chopped mint leaves (phudina)
2 tbsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)
salt to taste
For Serving
Method
- To make khyar bi laban, combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well.
- Refrigerate for at least an hour.
- Serve khyar bi laban chilled with pita bread and lavash.

the cucumber and yoghurt dip can be used for any dish. it is an excellent complementary dish and could be had with chips, pita bred and vegetables. the garlic flavour is highlighted in this dish.
