Ingredients
Main Ingredients
1/4 cup grated processed cheese
1 1/2 cups boiled and crushed sweet corn kernels
2 tsp cornflour
1 cup milk
1/4 tsp mustard (rai / sarson) powder , optional
1 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
salt and freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) to taste
a few drops of tabasco sauce
For Serving
16 toasted triangles , refer handy tip
Method
- Toast 8 bread slices in a pop up toaster and cut each slice diagonally into 2.
- Combine the cornflour and milk in a bowl, mix well and keep aside.
- Combine the corn, cornflour-milk mixture, cheese, mustard powder, chilli flakes, salt, pepper and tabasco sauce in a broad non-stick pan, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Cool slightly and serve with toasted triangles.

This Corn Dip is really nice to serve when kids come hungry from school or for a party..To serve it immediately is imp and if served later I add more milk and heat it...Toasted triangles is the best accompaniment but chips would also do the magic...

This dip made with cheese and corn is a hit with kids I make this often for my nephew with toasts and he loves it.
