Ingredients
For Eggless Molten Lava Cake
1 cup chopped dark chocolate
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup plain flour (maida)
3/4 cup powdered sugar
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
Method
For eggless molten lava cake
- To make eggless molten lava cake recipe, combine milk, butter and dark compound chocolate in a broad non-stick pan.
- Cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes until the chocolate melts, while stirring continuously.
- Remove the chocolate mixture in a deep bowl and cool completely.
- Sieve plain flour, powdered sugar, cocoa powder and baking powder in the chocolate mixture bowl.
- Whisk well till no lumps remain. Pour equal quantities of the batter into 6 aluminium cupcake liners.
- Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°c (360°f) on a top rack for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Serve eggless molten lava cake immediately.

This batter becomes liquid and the chocolate chunks floats in it.. The batter gets mixed up. Should I decrease the quantity of milk.

I tried this recipe. but the chocolate chunk settled down at tge last and inspite of the center the bottom of the cake was liquid. what to do?

Hi Shilpa, the quality of the plain flour may vary.. as some absorbs more milk and some less, so when you make it next time, keep a check on the milk you adding to the batter. See to it that it is not very thin consistency..

Hi, We are very sorry to know that the recipe did not work out for you. Just wanted to know you have used milk right and not cream in the recipe?? Secondly this recipe is goey and not runny.
