For the dough
 

  1. Sieve the flour with the salt. Mix all the ingredients and make a soft dough.
  2. Divide the dough into 8 to 10 portions.


For the stuffing
 

  1. Heat the ghee and fry the onion for 1 minute.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and cook for a few minutes. Add a little water if the mixture is dry.
  3. Cool the mixture.


How to proceed
 

  1. Roll each dough portion into a big thin round. Cook on a tawa (griddle) on both sides for a few seconds.
  2. Put some stuffing in the centre and fold like an envelope.
  3. Cook on a tawa (griddle) on both sides using ghee.
  4. Serve hot with chilled curds.
