Ingredients
For Eggless Chocolate Cookies
1/2 cup soft butter
1/2 cup coarsely powdered brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup plain flour (maida)
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
a pinch of salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
2 tbsp milk
chocolate chips for topping
sea salt (khada namak) for sprinkling
Method
For eggless chocolate cookies
- To make eggless chocolate cookies recipe, combine butter, brown sugar and vanilla extract in a deep bowl.
- Whisk it well for 2 to 3 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add plain flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, a pinch of salt, chocolate chips and 2 tbsp milk.
- Mix well to form a dough. Divide the dough into 14 equal portions and roll each portion into a 50 mm. (2”) diameter circle.
- Place them on a lined baking tray and apply chocolate chips on each cookie dough.
- Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°c (360°f) for 12 to 14 minutes on a middle rack.
- Remove and cool completely. One cooled, remove it carefully using a flat spoon.
- Serve the eggless chocolate cookies immediately or store in an air tight container and use as required.
