Here is a scrumptious treat for the fun-loving foodie! Bhavnagari chillies, with their convenient size and mildly spicy taste, are ideal for making this delicious snack.
The chillies are first stuffed with paneer and cheese, then dipped in a plain flour batter and deep-fried.
Using a combination of cheeses gives the filling a nice texture, while a dash of pepper complements the natural spiciness of the chillies, and enhances the taste further.
Relish the Chillies Stuffed with Paneer and Cheese immediately after preparation along with tongue-tickling Hot and Sweet Sauce. You can also try other interesting snacks like Baby Corn Fritters and Budijaw .
Method- Combine the plain flour, baking powder, salt and approx. ½ cup of water in a deep bowl, mix well using a whisk. Keep aside.
- Stuff each deseeded chillies with a little prepared stuffing.
- Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan, dip each stuffed chillies in the prepared plain flour batter and deep-fry a few at a time till they turn crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
- Serve immediately with hot and sweet sauce.
