Sometimes, it is nice to fuse Indian flavours with international cooking styles, to make a dish that is both exotic and exciting to the Indian palate.

Here, we have created a gooey, cheesy fondue with the fantastic flavour and aroma of dabeli masala, a traditional Gujarati spice mix with strong hints of cinnamon, cloves and coriander seeds.

A garnish of pomegranate fits in well with the dabeli masala – if you remember, pomegranate is an essential ingredient in the authentic roadside dabeli too!

Serve the Dabeli Cheese Fondue with crispy bread for a totally awesome, outta-the-world experience.

Tastes equally good with Ladi Pav Garlic Bread , Herb Bread , Toasted Triangles , Herbed Pita Strips , French Fries and Khakhra.

Hi Rashi, You have to add the dabeli masala in step 2 only and simmer it.
