Ingredients

To Be Mixed Into A Thick Batter
4 tbsp plain flour (maida)
2 tbsp cornflour
1/2 tbsp oil
salt to taste
little water

Other Ingredients
250 gms paneer (cottage cheese) , cut into 1/2" thick squares
4 large roasted and crushed papad
4 tbsp green chutney
oil for deep frying

For Serving
tomato sauce
Method
    Method
  1. Apply a layer of green chutney on one side of a paneer piece and place another piece on top of it.
  2. Make sandwiches of paneer in a similar manner with the remaining paneer pieces.
  3. Dip the paneer sandwich pieces in the prepared plain flour batter and roll in the crushed papad.
  4. Heat the oil in a deep kadhai and deep-fry the kebabs till it turns to golden brown in colour from all the sides.
  5. Remove on absorbent paper and repeat the same process to make more kebabs.
  6. Serve hot with tomato sauce or chutney of your choice.
