Cabbage and Grapes Salad in A Basil Curd Dressing

by
Green grapes, cucumber and cabbage make this salad a really "cool" one. Unlike other dressings, this one is made of curds and flavoured with basil and lemon that add zest to its already unique flavour

Carefully-chosen ingredients like green grapes, cucumber and cabbage make this salad a really refreshing one. The innovative dressing of low-fat curds adds to the tingling freshness of this salad with the zesty flavours of basil, lemon and mustard.

The addition of grated apples is a smart move, which balances the flavour and gives a rich texture to the dressing. Low-fat curds provide protein and calcium, making this salad a boon to your bones, while cabbage gives vitamin C to improve immunity.

Cabbage and cucumber - the two ingredients used in this recipe are quite bland in flavour but the dressing with hints of basil and lemon rind perks it up very well. And green grapes add their light sweet taste to the salad. I use black grapes when is season to get contrast of colours.

Cabbage, grapes and apple always make a good salad mixed with a low cal curd dressing.
