  1. To make restaurant style tomato pulao, heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the cumin seeds and sauté on a medium flame for 30 seconds.

  4. Add the tomato cubes and green peas, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the tomato pulp, chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  6. Add the rice, coriander and lemon juice, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Serve the restaurant style tomato pulao hot.

  1. Clean and wash the rice. Soak the rice in a deep bowl with enough water for 30 minutes drain and keep aside.
