An aesthetic flavour that is loved by all, vanilla imparts a lovely aroma as well. No wonder, the Vanilla Butter Icing is so popularly used all over the world in the decoration of cakes and pastries. Its off-white colour also contrasts well with the colour of all-time favourite cakes like blackcurrant and chocolate, making it so suitable for the creation of culinary masterpieces! Use the icing as soon as it is prepared, before it hardens, and use a damp palette knife to spread it, so as to get a smooth finish.
Method- Sieve the icing sugar in a deep bowl and keep aside.
- Combine the butter in a deep bowl and mix it with a help of a wooden spoon till light and smooth for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add the icing sugar gradually and mix well.
- Add the vanilla essence and mix well.
- Use as required.
