- Cover the dough with a wet muslin cloth and keep aside for 1 hour.
- Press the dough lightly to remove the air and divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
- Roll each portion into a 175 mm. (7”) diameter circle with the help of plain flour for rolling and prick each circle evenly using a fork.
- Place 2 circles on a greased baking tray and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°c (360°f) for 5 minutes.
- Repeat step 7 to bake 2 more thin crust pizza base.
Variation: thin crust whole wheat pizza base- Replace the plain with equal proportion of whole wheat flour and proceed as per the recipe.

For the homemade pizza dough recipe, in a small bowl take dry yeast.

Pour a little olive oil on the dough and also, grease your palms with it.

Knead the dough of homemade pizza dough again to form a smooth pizza dough.

Divide the dough of homemade pizza dough into 3 equal portions.

To make pizza base at home, roll a portion into a 175 mm. (7”) diameter circle with the help of plain flour. While rolling the portion of the dough, keep the other 2 portions covered with the wet muslin cloth so that they do not dry up. If you want to get air pockets and a crisp dough, then don’t use a rolling pin and stretch the dough using your hands. This will prevent the popping of air bubbles.
