- Add the salt and pepper, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 more minute. Keep aside.

- Allow the mixture to cool completely. Once cooled blend in a mixer till smooth.

For the cream of spinach soup, rinse the bunch of spinach leaves very well with the water.
