2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1/4 cup roughly chopped raw peanuts
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)

To make banana cucumber salad recipe | Indian cucumber banana peanuts salad | healthy banana cucumber coconut salad | in a deep bowl put 2 cups banana cubes.

Add 2 cups cucumber cubes.

Add 2 tsp finely chopped green chillies.

Add 1/4 cup roughly chopped peanuts. This gives a great crunch and taste to the salad.

Add 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania).

Add 2 tbsp grated fresh coconut.

Cover with a cling wrap and chill for a maximum of 30 minutes or bananas will turn black. Don't add salt, sugar and lemon juice when putting in the fridge.

Add 2 tsp lemon juice.

Add 1 tsp honey (optional) or 1 tsp powdered sugar. I perfer using honey as it's healthier than sugar. We have skipped using honey or sugar as there is enough sweetness from bananas.

Add salt to taste. We added 1/4 tsp salt.

I could never imagine a salad with bananas, cucumber and peanuts but when I tried it, it was really nice...the crunchiness of cucumber and peanuts and the sweetness of bananas made this salad a super hit...

It is sweet and spicy in taste. The sweetness of the banana is enough in enough to make the salad sweet. Along with bananas, green chillies gives a slight spicy flavour to it.
