2 cups sugar
1 cup water

    Method
  1. Combine the sugar and water in a deep non-stick pan, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 6 to 7 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  2. Strain it using a strainer.
  3. Cool completely, store in an air-tight container and use as required.
