    1. For preparing the green moong dal pancakes, pick and clean the green moong dal.

    6. Add 1 tbsp besan (bengal gram flour).
    7. Add 1/2 cup grated carrot.
    8. Add 1/4 cup grated paneer (cottage cheese).
    9. Add 1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing).
    10. Add 1/2 tsp baking powder.
    11. Add salt to taste. We added 1/2 tsp salt.
    12. Add approx. ¼ cup of water.
    13. Mix well and keep aside.

    2. Pour 1 tbsp of the batter in each uttapa mould and spread it lightly.
    3. Let the bottom of the pancakes cook for a while. Then grease the uncooked top of the pancake with some oil.  
    4. Turn over the pancakes with the help of a spatula. Makes it easier to flip.  
       
    5. Press down with a spatula to see that the pancake cooks evenly.

Green moong dal and carrot mini pancake.. the crunchy carrots with little spice, the paneer added gives a nice soft feel to the uttapa.. This is recipe is ideal for breakfast. Everybody enjoyed this mini pancakes.. Thank you for this recipe..
