1/2 cup grated carrot
1 tbsp roughly chopped green chillies
1/4 cup curd (dahi)
1 tbsp besan (Bengal gram flour)
1/4 cup grated paneer (cottage cheese)
1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)

Transfer the washed dal to a deep bowl and submerge in enough water.

Pour 1 tbsp of the batter in each uttapa mould and spread it lightly.

Let the bottom of the pancakes cook for a while. Then grease the uncooked top of the pancake with some oil.

Turn over the pancakes with the help of a spatula. Makes it easier to flip.

Green moong dal and carrot mini pancake.. the crunchy carrots with little spice, the paneer added gives a nice soft feel to the uttapa.. This is recipe is ideal for breakfast. Everybody enjoyed this mini pancakes.. Thank you for this recipe..
