For palak aur chawal ki roti- To make palak aur chawal ki roti, combine the cooked rice and spinach and blend in a mixture using ¼ cup of water to make a smooth puree.
- Transfer the puree in to a deep bowl and add rice flour, salt to make a soft dough.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal parts and roll out each portion into a thin circle of 150 mm. (6") diameter, using flour to roll the rotis.
- Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and cook the roti on it, using a little oil, till it turns golden brown in colour from both sides.
- Repeat with the remaining dough to make 5 more rotis.
- Serve the palak aur chawal ki roti immediately.

Palak aur chawal ki roti recipe | chawal ke atte aur palak ke paratha | Indian spinach rice flour roti, is made of cheap and easily available ingredients in India: 1/2 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta), 5 tbsp steamed rice, 1/4 cup blanched spinach (palak), salt to taste and 1 tsp oil for cooking. Place the leaves in a colander and wash them thoroughly under running water to get rid of all the dirt.

Add salt to taste.

Knead into a soft dough.

Divide the dough into 6 equal portions.

Place a portion of dough on rolling board and flatten it slightly.

Sprinkle rice flour.

Gently roll out into a thin circle of 150 mm. (6") diameter, using rice flour to roll the rotis.

Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and cook the roti on both the sides.

Flip the roti and apply a little oil all over.

Remove the rotis in a plate.
