    1. To make topping for open vegetable and corn burger, heat the butter in a broad non-stick pan.
    2. Add 1 cup chopped and boiled mixed vegetables.
    3. Sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
    4. Add ½ cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)..
    5. Add ½ tsp finely chopped green chillies
    6. Mix well and cook on a medium flame for a few seconds.
    7. Add 1 cup white sauce
    8. Add the salt.
    9. Add the pepper. 
       
    10. Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute, while stirring occasionally. Keep aside.
    11. Divide the topping into 4 equal portions and keep aside.

    1. Cut each burger bun horizontally in 2 halves. 
    2. Apply a little butter on each bread halve.
    3. Bake them in a pre-heated oven at 180°c (360°f) for 10 minutes or till the bread halves are crisp.
    4. Spread a portion of the topping evenly on each bread halve.
    5. Sprinkle 1 tbsp of cheese evenly over it. 
    6. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°c (360°f) for another 5 to 7 minutes or till the cheese melts.
    7. Serve open vegetable and corn burger immediately.

It's a hit with kids. Crusty bread topped with fresh garden vegetables. White sauce added to it and baked to crispness. My 10 year daughter loved this.
