Unlike candy lollipops, you wouldn’t mind your children eating these. The oats, jaggery, nuts and sesame seeds all blend in nicely to make these lollipops crunchy and delicious. You can make healthy oats energy balls in advance and store them in air-tight containers.

Ingredients
For Oats Lollipop
1/4 cup lightly roasted quick cooking rolled oats
1 1/4 tsp ghee
1/2 cup chopped jaggery (gur)
1/4 cup lightly roasted and finely chopped mixed nuts (pistachios , almond and walnuts)
1 tbsp lightly roasted sesame seeds (til)
Method
- To make oats lollipops, heat 1 tsp of ghee in a broad non–stick pan, add the jaggery and cook on a slow flame till the jaggery melts, while stirring continuously.
- Remove from flame, add all the remaining ingredients and mix well. Keep aside to cool for 2 minutes.
- Grease your hands with the remaining ¼ tsp of ghee.
- Divide the mixture into 10 equal portions, shape each portion into a round ball by rolling it in between your palms and insert a small disposable stick in the centre.
- Cool the oats lollipops completely and store in an air-tight container.

Too good...I would surely replace the candies with these healthy lollipops for my kiddo. oats are healthy and so is jaggery better than sugar. this is also a sneak way to add some protein rich nuts to kids diet... keep sharing more such healthy recipes for kids.

hello, I tried this recipe. taste is very good but it becomes very hard when it cools down. it is so hard that my son refuse to eat it. please help me will appreciate ur quick response
