  2. Chop the black dates and put in a mixer.
  3. Dry blend the dates.

I want to use crushed roasted peanuts. Do I still follow the step of cooking it with honey in a pan?

Tarla Dalal    Peanut butter is a must in this recipe. You can add crushed peanuts along with dates and almond at step 4.
