For kodri pulao- To make kodri pulao, heat the oil in a non-stick kadhai, add the celery, spring onion whites, french beans carrots, capsicum, cabbage and bean sprouts, mix well and sauté on a high flame for 3 to 4 minutes while stirring continuously.
- Add the cooked kodri, soya sauce, spring onion greens, vinegar and salt, toss gently and sauté on a high flame for another minute, while stirring gently once in between.
- Serve indo chinese foxtail millet rice hot with chillies in vinegar and chilli sauce.

To cook kodri (foxtail millet, vargu), in a deep bowl put 1 cup kodri ( foxtail millets).

Add enough water to cover the millets.

Add 1 tbsp chopped celery (ajmoda).

Add 1/2 cup chopped spring onions whites.

Add 1/2 cup thinly diagonally cut french beans.

Add 1/4 cup thinly sliced carrots.

Add 1/2 cup thinly sliced coloured capsicum.

Add 1/2 cup shredded cabbage.

Add 1/2 cup bean sprouts.

Add 1 tsp soy sauce. Increase quantity if you like the flavour of soya sauce.
