Ingredients
For Raw Banana Fritters
oil for deep-frying
To Be Mixed Into A Batter (using 3/4 Cup Of Water)
3/4 cup besan (Bengal gram flour)
1/4 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)
1/4 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
1/2 tsp chaat masala
a pinch baking soda
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
salt to taste
For Serving With Raw Banana Fritters
Method
- To make raw banana fritters, heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadhai, dip the bananas slices in the prepared batter and drop it in hot oil. Deep-fry a few banana slices at a time on a medium flame, till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides.
- Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve raw banana fritters immediately with green chutney.

To make raw banana fritters, in a deep bowl add, 3/4 cup besan (bengal gram flour).
