  1. To make raw banana fritters, heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadhai, dip the bananas slices in the prepared batter and drop it in hot oil. Deep-fry a few banana slices at a time on a medium flame, till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides.
  2. Drain on absorbent paper.
  3. Serve raw banana fritters immediately with green chutney.

    1. To make raw banana fritters, in a deep bowl add, 3/4 cup besan (bengal gram flour).
    2. Add 1/4 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta).
    3. Add 1 tsp chilli powder.
    4. Add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
    5. Add 1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing).
    6. Add 1/4 tsp carom seeds (ajwain).
    7. Add 1/2 tsp chaat masala.
    8. Add a pinch baking soda.
    9. Add 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania).
    10. Add salt to taste.
    11. Add ¾ cup water.
    12. Whisk well.

    3. Peel the skin on the raw banana and discard it.
    4. Cut the banana into half.
