Coleslaw is an awesome salad that’s become an integral part of American cuisine! Made of juicy, crunchy and colourful veggies with complementary flavours and textures, the salad is bound together with creamy mayonnaise and seasoned with a dash of pepper.
Cabbage and onions are must-have veggies in the coleslaw, as they contribute to its characteristic flavour. This Basic Coleslaw Recipe can be eaten just like that or stuffed into sandwiches. It can also be served as an accompaniment with burgers .
It is important to chill the coleslaw before use. Use your coleslaw in recipes like Quick Coleslaw Sandwich or Coleslaw with Khakhra.
Method- Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and toss well.
- Refrigerate for atleast 1 hour and serve chilled.
