Ingredients

For Baked Rasgulla
10 rasgullas
1 1/2 cups grated mawa (khoya)
1/4 cup condensed milk
2 tbsp fresh cream
a pinch of cardamom (elaichi) powder

pistachio slivers
Method

  1. To make baked rasgulla recipe, squeeze the excess sugar syrup from the rasgullas and place them in a baking tray.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan, add mawa and cook on medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  3. Add condensed milk, fresh cream and cardamom powder and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Pour the mawa mixture over the arranged rasgullas and bake them in a pre-heated oven at 200° c (400° f) for 10 minutes on middle rack.
  5. Garnish with pistachio slivers and serve the baked rasgullas warm.

When do we use cream,as it is not mentioned anywhere in the recipe,but it is shown in the list of ingredients picture. It becomes confusing.

I really liked this recipe of yours a lot ma''am and found it easy too. I will be making this for the first time. So I want to know that for how long do I pre heat my otg for baking rasgullas and for how long do I bake them in the otg.

Tarla Dalal    The pre heating time is 5 minutes at 150º c (300º f) and cooking time is also 5 minutes as mentioned in the recipe.

I had leftover rasgullas and I did not know what to do with them, then I came across this recipe that was just so easy and quick to make, so made it and my family loved it.
