The choice of vegetables and fruits used in this Apple and Lettuce Salad with Melon Dressing gives an ample dose of vitamins A and C, while bean sprouts gives a good amount of protein. The best part is that these tasty fruits and veggies are tossed together in a refreshing no-oil musk melon dressing. Very healthy, extremely enjoyable!
Method- Combine all the ingredients along with the dressing in deep bowl and toss well.

what is apple lettuce salad with melon dressing made of? is made from simple and cheap ingredients available in India such as 1/2 cup apple cubes, 1 cup iceberg lettuce , torn into pieces, 1/2 cup shredded cabbage, 1/4 cup thickly grated carrot, 1/4 cup capsicum cubes (red and yellow), 1/2 cup bean sprouts, 1/4 cup green grapes, 1 tsp lemon juice, salt to taste and a melon dressing. Wash the muskmelon and place it on a chopping board. Cut the muskmelon into small half with a sharp chopping knife. Remove the rind from both the halves of the muskmelon and deseed them. Chop the muskmelon into desired pieces. Combine the chopped muskmelon along with little water in a mixer and blend till smooth. Your muskmelon puree is ready. Use as required.

Add 1 cup iceberg lettuce , torn into pieces.

Add 1/2 cup shredded cabbage.

Add 1/4 cup thickly grated carrot.

Add 1/4 cup capsicum cubes (red and yellow).

Add 1/2 cup bean sprouts.

Add 1/4 cup green grapes.

Add 1 tsp lemon juice.

Add salt to taste.

Mix well.

Cover with a cling wrap and chill in the fridge till you want to serve.

Add 1/2 tsp roasted and crushed cumin seeds (jeera).

Add 1/4 cup chopped coriander (dhania).

Add salt to taste. We added xx tsp salt.

Add freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) to taste. We added xx tsp ground black pepper.

Blend to a smooth puree.

Take the apple lettuce salad in a bowl.

Add the muskmelon dressing.

Toss well.

Serve immediately.
