From time immemorial, man has always used equipment for cooking, whether it was a stone utensil or today’s modern non-stick ones! Apart from the different types of utensils like pressure cookers, pans, deep-pans and kadhai, you will also find other appliances like mixers, juicers, ovens and refrigerators in the kitchen. To make steamed food, a pressure cookers or steamer is used, while a kadhai is used to deep-fry. Mixers and grinders are used to powder ingredients and to make batters. Apart from this, specialized equipment like Puttu Steamers, Appe Moulds and Chakli Pressers might also be used to make specific dishes. When you have the right equipment, cooking becomes a pleasure!
