The simple Lauki cooked with roasted split moong dal and fried vadis. This is a side dish and can be had both with chapattis or rice.

Method
    Method
  1. Dry roast the moong dal till light brown. Keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan and fry the vadis till golden brown. Keep aside.
  3. Temper the same oil with the cummin seeds.
  4. Add the sliced Lauki, green chillies, salt, turmeric powder, fried vadis and the coriander-cumin powder.
  5. Mix well and cook, covered on low flame till done.
  6. Serve, garnished with ghee and coriander leaves.

Recipe reads incomplete. What exactly to do after keeping roasted green moong dal aside is either not written or maybe i am unable to view full recipe. Recipe should be more elaborate.
