what is jowar vegetable paratha made off? healthy jowar paratha is made from 1/4 cup jowar (white millet) flour, 3/4 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta), 1/4 cup grated carrot, 1/4 cup shredded spinach (palak), 1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi), 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 1/2 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera), 1 tsp oil and salt.

Dust a rolling board with whole wheat flour.

Flatten dough and put some whole wheat flour on it.

Roll out dough into a 125 mm. (5") diameter circle

Heat a non stick pan and grease it with oil. You need to do that only once.

Place uncooked paratha on non stick pan.

Let the paratha cook on medium flame till small bubbles appear on the paratha which should take about 20 seconds.

Now grease the top of the paratha with oil.

Flip over and cook the other side of the paratha the same way.
