Ingredients

For The Fresh Peas Rice Roti
4 cups rice flour (chawal ka atta)
2 cups fresh boiled green peas
2 bunches finely chopped coriander (dhania)
a few finely chopped curry leaves (kadi patta)
1 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
1 cup grated coconut
3 to 4 finely chopped green chillies
2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
2 to 3 finely chopped onions
1 plantain leaf or plastic sheet
salt to taste

For The Bhindi ki Gojju
500 gms ladies finger (bhindi)
1 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
2 pinches asafoetida (hing)
oil for cooking
1/4 cup grated jaggery (gur)

To Be Ground To A Smooth Paste Using Little Water
3 tbsp grated coconut
1 tsp rice (chawal)
1 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
2 to 3 tbsp tamarind (imli) paste
3 to 4 dry red chillies (pandi)
1 bunch curry leaves (kadi patta)
Method
    Method
  1. In a large bowl combine rice flour,chopped onions, ginger, coriander leaves, green chillies, curry leaves, cumin seeds, coconut, fresh peas and salt to taste.
  2. Mix all the ingredients and make soft dough using Luke warm water.
  3. Divide the dough into small portions and keep aside.
  4. Smear oil on to the plantain leaf or plastic sheet. Take a small portion of the dough and pat it flat on the leaf or plastic sheet.
  5. Heat a tava,place the leaf upside down on the pan. Then remove the leaf carefully. Let the roti cook on one side add oil on the sides and then turn over to cook the other side. A steaming hot green pea’s rice roti is ready to serve.

For the bhindi ki gojju

    For the bhindi ki gojju
  1. First wash the bhindi and wipe clean. Cut the bhindi into equal size(2 cms) .
  2. Take a shallow frying pan , add 2-3 table spoons oil and let it heat. Add mustard seeds, hing and curry leaves let it splitter and then add bhindi and cook till gets crisp.
  3. Add tamarind paste, water and let it cook for a while on simmer.
  4. Add the ground coconut mixture, jaggery and salt.
  5. Add sufficient water to get the curry consistency.
  6. Cook till the bhindi mixes well with the masala.
  7. Serve hot with Green Peas Rice Flour ki Roti.
