Cheesy Pumpkin Dip recipe - How to make Cheesy Pumpkin Dip

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     3Makes 3 servings

Ingredients
100 gms cream cheese , softened
2 cups fresh pumpkin
1 cup brown sugar or confectioners sugar
1 tsp cinnamon (dalchini)
1/2 tsp ground ginger (adrak)
1/2 tsp nutmeg (jaiphal)
1 tbsp orange or lemon zest
Method
    Method
  1. Steam the pumpkin pieces, cool and puree.
  2. Cream the cream cheese and pumpkin puree together in a large bowl.
  3. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Taste and adjust the sugar, if necessary.
  4. Chill.
  5. Serve in (what else?) a small hollowed-out pumpkin, if desired.
  6. Serve with your choices of:
  7. Apple wedges, banana rounds, cherries, or other fruit
  8. Sugar cookies, vanilla wafers, ginger snaps
  9. Crackers, toast points
