When you don’t have time for Pav Bhaji you can make do with Chat-Pata Pav equally tempting creation! A fabulous, tongue-tickling, desi style mixture of sautéed and spiced veggies is tossed with butter and packed inside succulently fresh pav buns.

Served with a garnish of lemon juice and coriander, this Chat-Pata Pav brings alive myriad flavours and textures on your palate, from the lazy comfort of butter to the crunch of veggies and the pep of spices.

As far as possible, enjoy Chatpata masala pav fresh, but when you are in a rush, wrap it in aluminium foil, and enjoy it on-the-go, within an hour or so. You can also have as Evening Tea Snacks.

Chat-Pata Pav is typically enjoyed as a quick snack or light meal. It s often served with a squeeze of lemon and a side of green chutney for dipping.

Tips for Chat-Pata Pav. 1. For the masala of Chat-Pata Pav, heat the butter in a broad non-stick pan. Be generous while adding butter to make a really buttery Chat-Pata Pav. 2. Add salt and 2 tbsp of water. The masala should be moist yet dry. This water will basically help in cooking the vegetables slightly. 3. Add the black salt and garam masala . If you do not have garam masala then substitute with pav bhaji masala.

    1. When you don’t have time for Pav Bhaji you can make do with this equally tempting creation! For The Masala of Chat Pata Pav

 

    1. For the masala of Chat- Pata Pav, heat the butter in a broad non-stick pan. Be generous while adding butter to make a really buttery Chat- Pata Pav.
    2. Add the onions.
    3. Add the capsicum. Add red and yellow bell peppers for a colorful pav.
    4. Sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
    5. Add the garlic.
    6. Add the tomatoes.
    7. Add the turmeric powder.
    8. Add the chilli powder. If you like spicier food than increase the quantity.
    9. Add salt and 2 tbsp of water. The masala should be moist yet dry. This water will basically help in cooking the vegetables slightly.
    10. Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
    11. Add the black salt and garam masala . If you do not have garam masala then substitute with pav bhaji masala.
    12. Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute, while stirring occasionally. Also, you can toss in some freshly chopped coriander. Divide the masala into 6 equal portions and keep aside.
How to make Chat- Pata Pav

 

    1. For making the Chat-Pata Pav recipe | Chatpata masala pav |  Indian spicy bread | heat 1 tsp of butter on a non-stick tava (griddle).
    2. Add a portion of the prepared masala on it.
    3. Sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds.
    4. Slit one pav horizontally.
    5. Open the pav and place it on the masala on the tava.
    6. Spread the masala evenly over the pav.
    7. Cook it on a medium flame for 1 minute or till the masala coats the pav evenly.
    8. Repeat steps 1 to 7 to make 5 more Chat-Pata Pavs.

Indian's favourite pav just got better! Its not too tough and extremely flavoursome! not the healthiest so i would recommend eating during the day rather than at night.

Chatapata pav.. the name tells everything.. little spicy.. with chatpata flavour.. i made this for my family.. and just added little cheese inside the masala.. and beleive me they just pounced on the dish.. its a big hit.. in my house

making something out of left over pav is always a confusion. I made this chat pata pav and for dinner the next day and it was so yumm. simple and easy to make. tasted like masala pav.. good option for siders as well.
