Khasi ki sherbhat is a ginger-pepper based sweet cough syrup recipe which can be prepared at home with handy ingredients. A grandma' s recipe to alleviate throat problems, khasi ki sherbert always helps.

Ingredients

5 to 6 peppercorns
1 small piece of jaggery (gur)
1/2 " piece of ginger (adrak) , chopped
2 tsp honey
1 tsp tulsi (Indian basil) leaves (if available)
2 to 3 small pieces of cinnamon (dalchini)
4 to 5 cloves (laung / lavang)
1 tsp cumin (jeera) and coriander (dhania) seeds
Method


  1. Procedure:in a vessel,add one full glass of water.add all these ingredients and boil till the water becomes 1/4 glass.have 2 times a day once early morning before food and after dinner.
  2. Note:please have this syrup half an hour before food and do not have anything for fifteen minutes after having the syrup.
  3. This syrup is extremely easy to prepare and very effective and absolutely pure and natural.
  4. Say bye to cold and cough in a few minutes.
