Apple Halwa in this recipe apples are simmered in milk and flavoured with cardamom and honey. Serves best when served chilled.
Method- Melt the butter in a pan, add the apples and saute for 5 minutes.
- Add the milk and cook till all the milk is absorbed.
- Add the honey, cardamom powder and few lemon drops, mix well and cook further for 2 minutes.
- Remove from the flame allow to cool at room temperature and than refrigerate till chilled.
- Serve chilled garnished with almonds and pistachios.
