Ingredients

For Aloo Pyaaz Bhajia
1 1/2 cups thinly sliced onions
1 1/2 cups thickly grated potatoes
2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
2 tsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
1/4 cup finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/2 tsp coriander (dhania)
1 tsp lemon juice
salt to taste
1/4 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
2 tbsp rice flour (chawal ka atta)
oil for deep-frying

To Be Mixed Into A Chutney
1/4 cup green chutney
1/2 cup sweet chutney
1 1/2 tbsp garlic chutney
Method

For aloo pyaaz bhajia

    For aloo pyaaz bhajia
  1. To make aloo pyaaz bhajia, keep the oil to heat in a non-stick kadhai, in the mean while combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well.
  2. Once the oil is hot enough, drop spoonfuls of the mixture in the oil and deep-fry till they turn crisp and golden brown in colour from all the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper.
  3. Repeat step 2 to make more bhajias.
  4. Serve the aloo pyaaz bhajia immediately with chutney.
