Ingredients
For Veg Lollipop
3 cups boiled and mashed potatoes
1/2 cup capsicum
1/4 cup grated carrot
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped french beans
2 tsp ginger (adrak)
1/2 tsp green chilli paste
1 1/2 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp chaat masala
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1/4 cup bread crumbs
salt and to taste
bread crumbs for rolling
oil for deep frying
For Slurry
1/4 cup plain flour (maida)
1/4 cup cornflour
1 tsp dried oregano
salt and to taste
Method
For veg lollipop
- To make veg lollipop, in a small bowl add plain flour, corn flour, oregano, salt and pepper to taste. Whisk well and keep aside.
- In another big bowl add potatoes, capsicum, carrot, onions, french beans, ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste, chilli flakes, oregano, chaat masala, coriander, breadcrumbs, pepper and salt to taste.
- Mix well to form a mixture.
- Divide into 10 equal portions, insert a ice cream stick in the center and shape into lollipop.
- Repeat step 4 to make remaining 9 lollipops.
- Heat oil in a deep pan and deep fry 2 or 3 lollipops at a time till golden brown and crisp.
- Drain on an absorbent paper.
- Serve the veg lollipop hot with tomato ketchup.

Roll each veg lollipop in bread crumbs.
