Steamed corn goes well with a variety of toppings that children are partial to, such as tomato salsa, chaat masala, cheese etc.
Main procedure- Toss the steaming corn kernels with the salsa and salt and serve immediately.
Variations:
Steamed corn with chaat flavour- Toss the steaming corn with chaat masala, lemon juice and salt.
Lemony steamed corn- Toss the steaming corn with freshly squeezed lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Cheesy steamed corn- Toss the steaming corn with grated cheese, finely chopped green chillies and salt.
