Healthy breakfast is must for all of us, but if it is hot and yet nutritious and easy to prepare. Here is sprouts momlet which is made from moong sprouts with the combination of gram flour and rice flour with very little spices. This momlet can be served with bread or can be served alone with mint chutney or curd.

Ingredients
1/2 cup sprouted moong (whole green gram)
1/2 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
1/2 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1/4 cup grated onions
3 tbsp grated tomatoes
1/4 cup chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 tsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
salt to taste
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/4 tsp pav bhaji masala
1 tbsp curds (dahi)
oil for cooking

Other Ingredients
8 bread slices
butter

For Serving
mint chutney or curd
Method
    Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients, except the oil in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Add enough water and mix well to make medium thick batter.
  3. Heat a non stick tava and grease with little oil.
  4. Pour 3 to 4 tbsp of batter to make little thick momlet in square shape.
  5. Pour a little oil around the edges and cook from both the sides till they turn golden brown in colour.

  1. Cut the edges of bread slices.
  2. Apply a little butter on each bread slices.
  3. Slightly toast the bread slices on a tav and place one momlet on one slice, cover with another bread slice.
  4. Cut and serve immediately.

    Handy tip
  1. If you want to serve this momlet with bread, make it square else it can be prepared in round shape too.
  2. If you want to make this momlet breakfast little heavy, put one cheese slice on momlet and then cover with another bread slice.
  3. This momlet breakfast can be served with tea or coffee too.
  4. If you don’t like crunchy sprouts, can add parboiled sprouts in batter instead of uncooked sprouts
