    2. Add 5 cups chopped spinach (palak).
    3. Mix well.
    4. Cover with a lid and cook on a medium flame for 6 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
    5. Transfer the mixture into big thali and cool completely.

    2. Add 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun).
    3. Saute on a medium flame for a few seconds.
    4. Add 1 cup finely chopped onions.
    5. Sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
    6. Add 1 tsp sugar and prepared spinach-fenugreek mixture.
    7. Cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally. 
    8. Add 1 cup milk.
    9. Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
    10. Add salt to taste.
    11. Add 1 ½ cups paneer (cottage cheese) cubes.
    12. Mix gently and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.

    1. If you wish you can also add fresh cream.
    2. Do not overcook spinach and methi otherwise it will lose its fresh colour.
    3. You can also add little sugar to balance out the bitterness of methi.

I love Palak Paneer....and adding methi to the recipe and use of low- fat paneer makes it more healthy and low in calorie...Perfect for weight watchers!
