Ingredients
For Mushroom Soup With Barely
1 tbsp olive oil
3/4 cup chopped onion
2 tsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
3 1/4 cups mushrooms (khumb) , stem removed and sliced
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)
salt to taste
1/4 cup barley (jau) , washed and drained
2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
2 tsp lemon juice
Method
- To make mushroom soup with barely, soak the barley in enough water for 30 minutes. Drain and keep aside.
