  1. To make moong soup with paneer, combine the moong and 6 cups of water in a pressure cook and pressure cook for 3 to 4 whistles.

  2. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.

  3. Blend the cooked moong using a hand blender to a smooth mixture. Strain it using a strainer and keep aside.

  4. Heat the ghee in a deep non-stick pan and add the paneer cubes, salt and pepper powder to taste.

  5. Add the moong mixture and mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes, while stirring occasionally.

  6. Swtich off the flame and add 1 tsp lemon juice and mix well.

  7. Serve the moong soup with paneer hot.

    1. Put the moong in a deep bowl and add enough water. Cover and soak the moong for 8 hours.
    2. Drain the moong and keep aside.
    3. Take a pressure cooker and fill it up with 6 cups of water.
    4. Add the soaked and drained moong into it.
    5. Pressure cook for 3 to 4 whistles.
    6. Allow the steam to escape naturally before opening the lid.
    7. Blend the cooked moong using a hand blender to a smooth mixture.
    8. This moong dal mixture has a thin, watery consistency. There's no need to strain it.

    1. Heat 1 tsp ghee in a deep non-stick pan. If you do not want to add ghee, you can even add oil.
    2. Add 1/2 cup paneer cubes. Paneer is loaded with nutrition and adds to the health benefits of this soup. You can either use store-bought paneer or make paneer at home.
    3. Add a little salt to taste.
    4. Add freshly ground black pepper powder to taste.
    5. Saute on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
    6. Add the moong mixture.
    7. Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 5 to 8 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
    8. Serve the Moong soup with Paneer while it’s hot.
