The very mention of lemon brings to our mind a refreshing scent and tangy flavour, which instantly rejuvenate our senses! Indeed, the Lemon Dressing lives up to this reputation. With lemon juice and rind, complemented ably by mustard paste, this dressing is perfect for vegetable and fruit salads.

Sugar, salt and olive oil help to balance the flavours of the lemon and mustard, making it pleasing to the palate. This Lemon Dressing can be stored in the fridge in an airtight glass jar, for three or four days.

Lemon Dressing recipe - How to make Lemon Dressing

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 0.5 cup (7 tbsp )

2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon rind
2 tsp whole grain mustard paste
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup olive oil
  1. Combine the lemon juice, lemon rind, whole grain mustard paste, sugar and salt in a deep bowl and whisk well.
  2. Gradually add the vegetable oil and olive oil to the mixture while whisking it continuously using a whisk.
  3. Use as required.

thank you for updating this quick tangy dressing-loved it. i tossed my salad and it coated the leaves perfectly also sometimes i use this in the evening as a dip with cucumber and carrot sticks
