For garlicky methi dhokli- To make garlicky methi dhokli, in a deep bowl, combine besan, fenugreek, garlic, chilli powder, coriander powder, asafetida, salt and 1/2 cup water. Mix well till no lumps remain.
- Grease a 175 mm. (7”) diameter thali using ½ tsp of oil, pour half the batter into it and steam in a steamer for 8 minutes.
- Repeat step 2 to make 1 more thali.
- Cut the garlicky methi dhokli into diamond shaped pieces and serve immediately.

To make garlicky methi dhokli recipe | methi dhokla | healthy methi lehsun dhokli | in a deep bowl, add 1 cup besan (bengal gram flour). Besan, or chickpea flour, acts as a binder to hold the dhokli together. It creates a cohesive dough that can be shaped and held without crumbling.

Add 3/4 cup finely chopped fenugreek (methi).

Add 2 tsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun). Garlic and methi leaves have complementary flavors, it enhances the flavor of the recipe.
