Sweet corn cobs smothered with cumin flavoured butter makes a wholesome addition to any meal. It also makes a delicious snack all by itself.

Ingredients

2 sweet corn cobs

To be mixed together for the cumin-coriander butter
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
2 tbsp melted butter
salt to taste
Method
    Main Procedure
  1. Clean the corn cobs and trim the stems. Cut into 50 mm. (2") pieces.
  2. Roast the cobs over a charcoal or an electric barbeque till they are lightly
  3. Brush the flavoured butter on the cobs.
  4. Serve hot.

Tips
  1. If you like, you can even boil the corn cobs instead of grilling them and serve drizzled with the flavoured butter.

Good taste but took an hour to grill on electric griller. not sure if coriander powder would be better than coriander. will try next time
