Cover with an aluminium foil and freeze for approx. 10 hours or till set. Scoop and serve immediately.

1 cup roughly chopped canned peaches
2 cups cold milk
1/2 cup condensed milk
1/2 tbsp lemon juice

Whole cinnamon is much more aromatic and flavourful than readymade powders. Whole cinnamon should be compact and free of any blemishes. 
  2. Next we need to make cinnamon powder. This can be prepared by roasting whole cinnamon and then crushing it into fine powder. A blender may be used for this purpose as cinnamon is hard to be ground into powder in a mortar and pestle. 
  3. Next we need cannned peach, also called as aadoo. 
  4. Cut the canned peaches into cubes. 
  5. Put the canned peach cubes in a mixer jar and blend till smooth to get peach puree. It should smooth as seen in the image and free of lumps. 
  6. Add this peach puree into a deep bowl. 
  7. Add milk to it. Here we have used full fat milk. Cow’s milk may not give the necessary thickness to the ice cream.
  8. Next add condensed milk. This adds a luscious creamy texture to the Indian style peach cinnamon ice cream.
  9. Add little lemon juice. It helps to balance the sweetness of canned peaches.
  10. Finally add the freshly prepared cinnamon powder. Freshly prepared powder will lend a better aroma and flavour to the ice cream. 
  11. Add the prepared peach purée. 
  12. Mix well using a whisk.
  13. Pour the mixture of cinnamon spiced peach ice cream into a shallow aluminium container. 
  14. Cover with an aluminium foil and freeze for 6 hours or till semi-set.
  15. Pour the mixture into the mixer jar and blend till smooth.
  16. Transfer the mixture back into the same aluminium shallow container. 
  17. Cover with an aluminium foil and freeze for approx. 10 hours or till homemade fresh peach and cinnamon ice cream is set. In winter season the ice cream may take around 12 hours to set.
