1 cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
1 cup blanched asparagus spears , cut into 1/2" long pieces
1 1/2 cups Ice cream cones
1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
salt and freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste
butter for greasing
Method
- Make sure the white sauce is thick in consistency.
- Combine the corn, asparagus, white sauce, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix well.
- Pour this mixture in a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle cheese on top and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°c (400°f) for 10 to 15 minutes or till the cheese melts and is lightly browned.
- Serve hot.

Au gratin is my favourite technique! Loved the dish. the asparagus quality is very important for best results!
