  1. Heat a kadhai and dry roast the moong for 3 to 4 minutes.
  2. Cool and combine with rice and wash with water for 2 to 3 times and drain well.
  3. In a pressure cooker ,add moong dal,rice and jaggery, cardamom powder, salt and 1 tsp of ghee and mix well.
  4. Pressure cook for 2-3 whistles and allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
  5. Add the remaining ghee, fried nuts and mix well.
  6. Serve hot.

  8. Serve hot.
