Ingredients

1 broccoli
1 tbsp oil
1/2 cup besan (Bengal gram flour)
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 tbsp coriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder
1 tbsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tsp red pickle masala
a pinch of asafoetida (hing)
salt to taste
1/4 cup water
Method


  1. In a heavy coated non stick pan heat oil. when hot add hing jeera.wash the broccoli thoroughly in ice cold water to retain color & freshness. add the broccoli to the pan with a little salt. when it is coated well with the oil sprinkle besan & all the powdered spices on top. add a few drops of oil & the water. cover the pan until besan is cooked.
