Ingredients

For The Filling
2 big onions
1 tomato
2 garlic (lehsun) flakes
2 tsp ginger (adrak)
2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
salt to taste

Other Ingredients
6 pointed gourd (parwal)
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
Method

To make the filling

    To make the filling
  1. Combine the onions, tomato, garlic, ginger, cumin seeds, turmeric, chilly powder and salt and blend in a mixer to a coarse paste.

How to proceed

    How to proceed
  1. Make a slit on either side of the parwals.
  2. Fill the paste into these slits and keep aside.
  3. Heat the oil in a broad pan, add the parwals and saute till they turn soft and golden brown in colour.
  4. Serve hot garnished with coriander.
