A royal mithai or laddo recipe, Shahi laddo is prepared by mixing together peda( khoya based mithai), sweet petha and chopped nuts.

Ingredients

4 pcs of Petha
4 pcs Mava Peda or Khoa barfi
4 to 5 almonds (badam) and cashewnuts (kaju) , chopped
2 pods of cardamom (elaichi) powdered
2 to 3 edible silver leaf (vark)
Method


  1. Grate the petha sweet and bafi.
  2. Mix both very well.
  3. Mix kaju or badam and cardamom powder to mixture.
  4. Mix well and bind into small laddoos ,it will make 9-10 laddoos.
  5. Cover the laddoos partially with silver foil.
  6. Shahi laddoos are ready to be served.
